On behalf of the wonderful mother members of the award winning 5 Star Excellence Award Winston-Salem Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., (WSJJOA) we welcome you! We are a chapter comprised of mothers with diverse backgrounds and professions who are dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders through educational programming, leadership development, philanthropic giving, volunteer service, and legislative advocacy.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., was founded in 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by the late Marion Stubbs Thomas. The organization boasts more than 247 chapters nationwide, representing more than 40,000 families. Each chapter plans annual programming activities guided under a national theme.
The Winston-Salem Chapter, organized in 1951 has been recognized for its outstanding fundraising efforts that support children and youth focused activities within the local community.
